About Vederca
Vederca is a vendor registry and managed market scan service for financial institutions. We map the market for enterprise technology, take your requirements to it and deliver a report recommending a shortlist.
Where the registry reaches
Every country a listing names, as a market it serves or as its home.
Sourcing technology breaks in predictable places
Institutions hit the same five walls, procurement after procurement. Vederca is built against each one: a registry that maps the market, and AI engines that hold every claim to the evidence behind it.
Finding the market
Most searches start from name recognition: the incumbents, the analyst quadrants, whichever sales team called last. The specialist vendors best suited to the work are often the ones you have never heard of.
The registry. Vederca maps vendors and products serving financial institutions worldwide, searchable by what the software actually does. Research engines build each listing from the vendor’s own public documentation, return on a cadence to keep it current, and keep searching the market for vendors nobody has listed yet.
Marketing over evidence
Every vendor describes itself in its own words, written to persuade. Websites and decks rarely say plainly what a product does, so comparing two of them is guesswork.
Listings held to the vendor’s own words. A capability is recorded only where the vendor’s own material states it, never inferred, and products are compared like for like, capability by capability. Vendors claim their listing free, can correct or complete anything, and an accuracy engine measures listings against their sources.
The reading
A real evaluation means hundreds of pages read against hundreds of requirements. By hand it takes weeks, scoring drifts between evaluators, and attention runs out exactly where the detail matters.
The evaluation engine. In a market scan, every response is read against the same requirements and the same evidence, and every finding is cited to the vendor’s own documents. Every AI output is reviewed by the Vederca team, and an evaluator signs off every report.
Defending the decision
Months later, whoever approves the purchase, the risk team or an auditor asks why a vendor was chosen, and the answer lives in someone’s memory and a spreadsheet nobody can reconstruct.
A recommendation built to be interrogated. The shortlist report records why each vendor was or was not recommended, with the reasoning behind every judgement and the verbatim text it was drawn from. The scan is the first stage of a procurement: demonstrations, negotiation and the decision stay with you.
Pay-to-play
Most directories and review sites are paid by the vendors they rank, so placement and merit are impossible to tell apart.
One fixed fee, from the procurement team. Procurement teams commission and pay for every market scan, and placement in the registry cannot be bought. No vendor can pay to be invited, ranked or recommended.
